Orthognathic (Jaw) Surgery

Repositioning the jaws to correct a bite and facial balance that braces alone cannot fix.

When the upper and lower jaws do not meet correctly, moving teeth is not enough. Jaw surgery is planned together with orthodontics, using 3D imaging to plan the movements before the operation.

The surgery is done under general anaesthesia, followed by a period of soft diet and orthodontic finishing.
